Loser, FYI you can set up vent to be voice activated...OR hotkey to talk

Better sound quality. However it does seem to use a bit more bandwidth so I am not entirely sure what the side effects of this will be on some people's computers. I personally expirience a little bit of lag with vent even on my good computer.

I have a lot of problems with voice activation as well, and experience a lot of lag when playing and talking at the same time. also when im playing i cant hear what ppl are saying on vent.

i was thinking that vent came up previously (either in TSF, SoC, or in the transition to Elite) and was decided that it's quality (and/or) usefulness to us was not any better than TS.

The quality is better but the bandwidth it takes is substantially more that TS.
